Dangerous

OK so if The Brother ever sees this on here I am in trouble.

On FP4+, via ID-11 on Ilford RC Warmtone paper

I couldn't resist snapping him up as he was fighting with his shoelaces.  Like me, he has ankylosing spondylitis and so getting down to the old feet is a bit of a struggle.  Unlike me, he can actually get down there, albeit with difficulty.  This was Portrush, by the way, in full summer.  You can tell it's summer as he has his waterproofs on and the sun was out.  At other times of the year you don't get the sun, in case you were wondering.

  1. No worries my friend. How could anyone possibly spot anything out here on the web? And if he should, I still don't think there's too much to worry about. For all we know he will be at safe distance over the big ocean by the time this snap has reached the masses over there :)
And as for the weather, I don't wonder too much to be honest. I just had to make a quick escape from the elements outside a few minutes ago, as somebody opened the overhead valves for some reason. Not the best weather doing masonry work anyway, but I just barely managed to finish off a part of it. When I get out a bit later I guess I just have to start all over again. Things might fall down, if you know what I mean...

    1. You're right Roy - safe enough 3000 miles away lol. For now, anyway. Ahh...so you have the wet stuff too, then? There seems to be a lot more of it around this summer than ever before. Hope your masonry work holds together until the sun comes out and gets it properly baked.

  2. My friend Laura was badly injured in an accident ten years ago and has recovered as much as she's going to. One thing she will never regain is the ability to bend down, so tying her shoes is right out. She recently found self-tying shoes. Step into them and they tighten onto your foot.

    1. I tried those years ago Jim and didn't have much success. But they have probably improved over the years so you've prompted me to give them another go.
