Dunluce

Out and about, east of Portrush looking over the ruins of Dunluce Castle towards the Causeway:

Not quite sure what's happening there on the sky - reticulation, perhaps.  I'm usually pretty careful with my temperatures, though, so it might be something else.

  1. Despite the white spots in the sky, this is a great photograph. Nicely balanced. Dunluce Castle looks like a fine place to sit and think about life and existence. And come away with some gloomy conclusions . . . :)

    1. Thanks Marcus. I burned in the sky just a little.

Dunluce was once a very important castle and has a rich history. I think (if I remember correctly) it was the seat of the MacDonnells, of the Dalriada kingdom stretching along the Antrim coast and up the west of scotland. A fine place to sit and think about life and existence, as you say!
