Inside another Sardinian Church. I remember it being a nice place to cool off from the heat as well as being quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to sit and gather your thoughts.
It looks peaceful there. I often sit and rest in the small shrine behind the main hall in many Buddhist temples. Most people don't bother to go there, so I can be alone for a while. I (jokingly) wonder if Christianity spread quickly because the churches were a good place to hide from the heat. In Korea, the churches get converts by handing out free lunches.
And as we know, there's no such thing as a free lunch ;)
Churches are rather pleasant places to sit a while, I will admit. I remember being in one in Bergamo, Italy a few years ago. I thought I was on my own and went to lift my camera to frame a shot when out of the corner of my eye I noticed this lone figure all in black sitting behind me. I guess he was the priest, or someone connected to the church. Not a word was spoken but I slowly lowered my camera, stayed a couple more seconds then left. I felt like I'd been found out for doing something I shouldn't have.

I always feel too nervous about making photos in temple buildings.
