Gorey was a nice enough wee place on the island of Jersey. Nice, kind of old-fashioned in a sense of nothing really there apart from an old castle, nice beach and loads of restaurants&cafes. Sounds OK when you put it like that, I suppose.
Things are slowly getting back to normal at home, by the way.
Another beautiful snap of your beautiful daughter, Michael. How lucky they will feel, our daughters, in say 20 years from now when they discover they seem to be the only ones at their age having snaps of themselves from their youth to show off. Your snaps will be looked at a lot, mate, if you look a few years ahead. It seems to be the usual routine anyway, as more or less nobody using a camera ever so often seems to get really famous until it's way too late. But that's not why we keep on doing this, I suppose :))
ReplyDeleteVery nice snap, mate, and I really love the perspective. It's even worth the cutting on top when you look at the rest of it, me thinks.
Thank you Roy for the thoughtful words. Fame, eh? Not what it's cracked up to be I reckon. Best sit under the radar and be left alone to do what you want, when you want and with whom ;)
DeleteOh, and very good to hear that things seems to slowly getting back to how it should be over there!!
ReplyDeleteYes, thankfully J is out of hospital and back at home. Not quite firing on all cylinders yet but hopefully getting there. Thanks!
DeleteRelieved to hear things are settling down at home. Hope your wife returns to full health very soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jim - at least we are all back under one roof. Not quite over yet, but hopefully things will get sorted fairly quickly now.
